Shapes and Colour
In this first section we introduce ourselves and take you through the joy of collecting shapes from the world around you and using those shapes within your work.
Part B
Corita Kent and Collage
In this section we introduce you to one our favourite artists, Corita Kent. We then take you through ways in which you can create your own powerful collage piece inspired by Corita Kent.
Part C
Colour Mixing and Abstract
In this section we take you through colour mixing and experimenting with colours to find colours you can use in your work, followed by colour application and abstract expressionism.
Part D
Yayoi Kusama and Abstract Sculpture
In this final section we delve into the wonderful work of Yayoi Kusama and her use of bright colours to create 3d sculpture that invoke a strong emotional response. We also finish by having those who joined us for the recording share what they created during the day.
